Why not come and join our fabulous Saturday morning Musical Theatre Workshop classes in the Marshalswick Community Centre, St Albans. This very exciting half hour session for 5 - 12 yr olds (11.30am-12.00pm) focuses on producing musicals involving singing, dancing and acting. Children get the chance to explore their talents in a fun and friendly environment.
At our last production, approximately 80 children aged from 3 to 16 from our school put on a fabulous performance of “THE LION KING" in the Sandpit Theatre. The Musical Theatre group who played the main cast parts joined together with the ballet and street dancers and the combination of the acting, singing and dancing, together with beautiful costumes was spectacular.
The audience consisted of parents, relatives & friends. Afterwards they commented on how professional the children were and how they loved every minute of it! The children were very excited about performing for their families and friends and everyone had a wonderful day.
We are just beginning to start on a new production so come and join the fun and become a star!)
The Musical Theatre class is so confidence-building and inspiring that the school has had one of their children appearing in "DOWNTON ABBEY", one in a CENTRE PARCS advert on the TV and another in regular shows on TV and the stage.
